First cycle studies
At the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering, we conduct full-time first cycle studies (engineering) in the field of Chemical and Process Engineering. Engineering studies last 3.5 years (7 semesters).
The teaching program covers engineering issues related to chemical and physical processing processes on an industrial scale of raw materials into useful forms of marketable products. Knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology in the field of mechanisms and modelling of unit processes and operations forms the basis of the graduates' ability to design and adequately implement processes in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, petrochemical and cosmetic industries. Graduates can design and operate industrial apparatuses and plants and know the principles of control and safe execution of large-scale processing. They know how to plan and conduct experimental research of industrial processes using modern control and measuring devices and correctly interpret the obtained measurement results. The graduate's competencies allow his professional activity in the areas of processing industry, biotechnology, nanotechnology, and bioprocess and biomedical engineering, among others. The graduate is familiar with the principles of professional responsibility in legal and ethical terms and can work as a part of multidisciplinary technical teams.
Certificates and awards
