EPIC 2023 concluded!

After a long break caused by the covid pandemic, the 8th European Process Intensification Conference (EPIC) was held between 31 May and 2 June 203 in Warsaw. The conference, endorsed by the European Federation of Chemical Engineering, gathered 125 participants from 24 countries, proving that process intensification was doing very well.

The event included 4 plenary lectures, 59 oral and 36 poster presentations, all of high scientific quality. Six PhD students were awarded the best presentation and poster prizes. Also, the 2023 EFCE Excellence Award in Process Intensification and the EFCE Process Intensification Award for Industrial Innovation were presented, respectively, to Dr. Matteo N. Antognoli (University of Pisa), and to Croda International Plc. The conference was organized at the Warsaw University of Technology by the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering.

The next European Process Intensification Conference will be held in Athens, between 4 and 6 June 2025.
