Maciej Szwast, Ph.D., with a grant in the EUREKA initiative
The team led by Maciej Szwast, Ph.D. D.Sc., in consortium with Polymemtech sp. z o.o., has received research funding of PLN 1,500,000.00 in the EUREKA 2022 competition. The funded project involves "Development of a novel multifunctional filtration technology based on artificial intelligence." Details of the competition and results can be found on the NCRD website. The EUREKA initiative aims to increase the modernity, productivity and competitiveness of European industry. The projects must be focused on developing and implementing or significantly improving existing production technology, implementing a new product or service.
Institutions from Germany will also be involved in the project: Hohenstein Institute for Textile Innovation, Atec Automatisierungstechnik GmbH and Jung Electronic GmbH, funded by EUREKA initiative funds for German research units and companies.
Celem inicjatywy EUREKA jest zwiększanie nowoczesności, produktywności i konkurencyjności przemysłu europejskiego. Projekty te muszą być ukierunkowane na opracowanie i wdrożenie lub znaczące ulepszenie istniejącej technologii produkcyjnej, wdrożenie nowego produktu lub usługi.
W realizację projektu zaangażowane będą też instytucje z Niemiec: Hohenstein Institute for Textile Innovation, Atec Automatisierungstechnik GmbH i Jung Electronic GmbH, finansowane ze środków inicjatywy EUREKA przeznaczonych dla niemieckich jednostek badawczych i przedsiębiorstw.
