Roger-Marc Nicaud
Founder and CEO at Ypso-Facto, previously founder and CEO at Novasep
Roger-Marc Nicaud currently serves as president and CEO of Ypso-Facto, a service company that offers assistance to industrial companies in developing, optimizing and securing their chemical and bioprocesses. The offices of Ypso-Facto, a company founded by Roger-Marc Nicoud, are located in Europe and the United States.
Roger-Marc Nicoud received his PhD in process simulation for the nuclear industry from the University of Lorraine (Nancy, France). For several years, he combined working at Separex, a leader in supercritical fluid technology, and heading a research laboratory at the University of Lorraine. In 1995, he decided to spin off a new company, Novasep, from Separex.
As president and CEO until 2012, he led Novasep's growth from 10 to 1,300 employees, reaching a turnover of €300 million. Through his management, Novasep became a leading player in the life sciences industry and created a world-class portfolio of innovative technologies. From 2009 to 2015, he was chairman of the board of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Industries Chimiques (ENSIC, Nancy, France).
