Warsaw University of Technology, female researchers and WIChiP student are winners of prizes at 3W Congress
We are very proud to announce that Warsaw University of Technology has become a gold winner of the 3W World Leader 3W Competition in the SCIENCE category. The award was given for the research conducted at our Faculty by Marta Mazurkiewicz-Pawlicka, Ph.D., and Zuzanna Bojarska, M.Sc., on cost reduction in green hydrogen production. What's more, Jakub Zabrzycki, Eng., from our Department was awarded second place in the competition for the best engineering paper in the 3W topic.
The silver winner in the Science category was Poznan University of Technology and the bronze winner was the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
The awarded engineering work is titled "Production of catalysts based on MoS2 and carbon nanomaterials for hydrogen evolution reactions." The work was carried out under the direction of Marta Mazurkiewicz-Pawlicka, PhD.
The awards were presented on December 7, 2022, during the gala of the 2nd 3W Congress organized in Warsaw by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego as part of activities concerning the 3W Idea: Water-Hydrogen-Carbon (pol. "Woda-Wodór-Węgiel").
We would like to congratulate our winners and all the awardees of the 3W competitions!
